With Father's Day on the horizon, I thought it was the perfect time to share this short film, titled Good Run, created by Discover Boating with GM. We like to call it 'a celebration of memories made taking life's journey by boat.' But, you be the judge.

Admittedly, I tear up watching this video EVERY single time I view it (this morning was no exception) ... and, I've watched it many times. Maybe it's because I can easily look back and smile at the thought of fishing and canoeing trips with my dad (including the first one, catching bluegill in Ojaski Lake in Chetek, Wisc.). Or, maybe I'm just a sap. But, it seems to sum up for a lot of us current and past boaters the powerful impact boating has on your life and the most important of relationships. Think about it -- doesn't boating seem to be the cornerstone of so many fond memories? For me, that's no coincidence.
