Only 2 days left until the 2012 Summer Olympics takes off. Work continues on preparing the Olympic Stadium for the Opening Ceremony in the London 2012 Olympic Park at Stratford.
Since 1894 the Olympic Games are considered to be the world’s foremost sports competition with more than 200 nations participating in unity. Whether you are a fan of gymnastics, swimming, equestrian, sailing, track, canoeing, cycling or rowing, you can be sure to find the biggest sporting event on the planet on edge and will draw millions of viewers around the world. On Friday, the whole world will be celebrating, led by the chimes of Big Ben which will ring more than 40 times over 3 minutes.
