One of my favorite things to do when I’m on a boat trip is walk the docks of the marina that I’m staying at and check out all the names on the back of the boats. This month, Boat US announced Top 10 Most Popular, Funniest Boat Names. Check them out!

A couple of years ago I was delivering a new boat for a retired couple. They just bought the boat of their dreams and wanted to travel the east coast of the United States. They've been dreaming about this day for years. As the boat hung in the hoist and was about to be put in the water, the husband walked to the front of the boat with a bottle of champagne and was about to break the bottle on the bow of the boat, when he said “I christen this boat ...blah blah blah.” I actually did not catch the name because his wife started screaming at the top of her lungs at him that it wasn’t the name they picked out. An hour later I was ready to take the champagne from him as everyone could have used a drink because they were still going at it. Needless to say, I did not deliver the boat until the following weekend, until they could both agree on a name
